About the Teacher
Education and Experience: I graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR back in 2009, with a degree in Spanish Education. I taught for one year as a Spanish Teacher and was an assistant coach for Girls Volleyball and Basketball. I got pregnant and took some years off to raise my 4 boys. Once they all got into school and settled, I decided to get back to work. I started out as a Substitute teacher, but was offered a position as a part-time Interventionist. I taught one class of ACT Prep for a year and loved it! But the following year, I just stuck with Interventionist duties, which included pulling students and working with them to get their grades up. I am also currently an Assistant Volleyball coach for Lewisburg High. But when the opportunity came to work full-time as a teacher, I jumped! This is my first time teaching CCR, but have personal life skills that pertain to CCR that will come in handy when sharing it with my students. I look forward to learning more and growing in this area of study.
