Dr. Lott is a native of Batesville, MS. After graduating high school, He attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and Delta State University, where he earned a BA degree in vocal performance with an emphasis in piano. He attended The University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his MM in vocal performance. Dr. Lott has performed as a soloist with Lincoln Lutheran Community Choir, Tenor soloist for Handel's The Messiah with Doane College and Orchestra, Tada Dinner Theater and Opera Omaha. In 2014, he earned his Doctorate from the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Along with performing, Dr. Lott has served as Director of Worship Arts for 22 years at Maples Memorial UMC and is Director of Choirs at Lewisburg High School. Dr. Lott has been married to his wife, Lynn, for 27 years and they have 3 children.
