I graduated from Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Mississippi State University with a Master of Science in Mathematics. During my first year, as a teacher, I became the recipient of the 2013-2014 Star Teacher Award as well as the 2013-2014 Golden Apple Award Teacher of the Year and  the 2014 Golden Apple Award for April. I also was a recipient of the 2017-2018 Star Teacher Award. I also have been  an adjunct teacher of Mississippi Valley State University, Mississippi State University, East Central Community College, and North West Community College. Currently, I believe my most significant accomplishment was marrying my best friend, Allisha Bass, on June 1, 2019.
