My name is Markesha Parker. I graduated from Independence High School. I went on to receive my bachelors degree from the University of Mississippi. I also received My masters in Education with emphasis in Mathematics. I returned to Independence and taught high school math for 14 years. During this time I also coached ladies basketball and ladies track and field. I began teaching at Lewisburg High School in the fall of 2017.  I have had the pleasure of working with the  ladies basketball, volleyball, and track and field teams. I have three daughters, two who currently attend Lewisburg Middle School, and one is a junior at Tougaloo College.
