My name is Maria Carrera. I teach Spanish I & II and I sponsor Spanish Club at Lewisburg High School. I have taught Spanish at Lewisburg since 2014.

In Spanish I course, you will build beginning language skills through the use of listening, reading, speaking and writing activities. 
In Spanish II course, you will strengthen your language skills and engage in more conversational Spanish. 

I graduated from Ole Miss in 2009 with a BA in Elementary Education.  I continued my  studies at Ole Miss graduate school of Liberal Arts.  In 2012, I completed my Master's Degree in Modern Languages with emphasis in TESOL.  I’m happily married and have 3 wonderful children. My oldest daughter is a junior in high school. My second daughter is 13 years old in 7th grade and I have a sweet 3 year old boy.
