Hello! Welcome to Compensatory Reading and English II. This is my 15th year of teaching and my 7th year serving the students and parents of Lewisburg High School. I was born in Memphis, but due to my father being in administration I have lived all over the state: Cleveland, Biloxi, and Columbus (and even Hendersonville, NC). I graduated from Columbus High School and received my college degree from Delta State University - Home of the Fighting Okra. :) My high school sweetheart Jon and I have been married for 13 years. We have two beautiful children: Hawk (7) and Penny (2). We also have a rescue dog named DeeDee. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling with my friends and family.
