Katelyn Dill

Special Education

Welcome To My Class!

Hello! My name is Katelyn Dill and this is my second year at Lewisburg High School. I am a Special Education/Inclusion teacher, as well as one of the assistant softball coaches. I am really excited to be at Lewisburg and I can't wait to work with your child!

About Mrs. Dill

I graduated from Hernando High School in 2015. I was a member of the softball team and started Varsity all 4 years. After receiving a full ride scholarship to play softball, I went to Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, MS. After I graduated from Northwest, I transferred to the University of Mississippi Desoto. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Multi-disciplinary Studies with a minor in Education, Psychology, and Sociology. I then went on to participate in the Teach Mississippi Institute. I am certified in Social Studies, English, and Special Education.

I was an Assistant Special Education Teacher at Horn Lake Middle School during the 2020/2021 school year.

This will be my third year with Desoto County Schools!

Facts about Mrs. Dill:

I live in Hernando, MS with my husband, Thomas Dill.

I love being outdoors and being active.

We have three dogs. Their names are Dak, Bost, and Rizzo.

Despite being a graduate at the University of Mississippi, I am a huge Mississippi State fan! Go Bulldogs!

In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family!
