Well, it doesn't seem like it ought to be my EIGHTH year, but here we are:) ! I have loved ALL of it!! The easy and tough days are all a part of my journey. I have learned so very much in my short time as the CBC teacher at LHS. I still have MUCH to learn, and I welcome it!! My class is my second home and my students are so dear to me! I have been fortunate to work with an AMAZING department of talented and caring Special Educators. They have fostered my growth as a teacher and a person more than they know. I have had two great principals and the faculty is bar none. We are a family and my parental support reflects that here at Lewisburg. I look forward to another great year!
I am so very excited to tell you about myself. My name is Amy Hoffman and I am the Community Based Special Education teacher at Lewisburg High School. My classroom is D-3 and it is home to a lot of great learning experiences and friendships! I love my job and my school.
I am married to Mr. Raymond Hoffman and we have three beautiful young adult children; Ben 21, Hailey 19, and Jason 16. I love the outdoors and playing sports. I especially love cheerleading, singing and dancing!! I am a member of La Belle Haven Baptist Church where I sing in the choir. I enjoy drawing and crafts when I have the time. Coffee and smoothies are my favs along with MEXICAN FOOD!!
