Meet Mrs. Allisha Dixon

My name is Allisha Dixon, and it is indeed an honor to serve as one of your school counselors. I am a native of the Mississippi Delta, where I have served students grades K-8th. Recently, I married my best friend, Travis Dixon, June of 2019. I am a honor graduate of two prestigious universities, Alcorn State University (Bachelor Degree) and Delta State University (Master and Specialist Degree). I am honored to have obtained an award from the Mississippi Counseling Association for Outstanding Community Service for my Counseling Program in the Fall of 2018. During my time as a counselor, I have collaborated on numerous presentations, conferences, etc., to advocate for students' mental health. During my spare time, I enjoy working with youth in my local community and serve as creator and leader of "TheGroveKidz."
My life's mottos are:
"If the Sky is the Limit, I Plan to go Further"
Matthew 20:45 "He will reply, " Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these you did not do for me."
Lastly, my greatest accomplishment is creating a youth ministry to work with students grades K-9th on leadership, public speaking, community service, citizenship, and much more. These students have not only excel socially but have climbed to the top of the ladder academically. With their hard work in mind, I am forever grateful to be their leader and mentor.

If there is any way I can assist you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
