Morris, Alison

Hello, I'm so glad you're here! My name is Alison Morris and I've worked at LHS for 12 years. I earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Mississippi State University. After college, I worked in the corporate world for 5 years and that's where I felt the calling to become a teacher. I completed an alternate route program through the University of Mississippi and began teaching at LHS. For the last 11 years, I've passionately educated students in Personal Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Business Law, and Entrepreneurship. Over the years, I've sponsored the SADD Club, FCS/FCA, and Theatre Department. I obtained specialized certifications in Master Teacher of Economics, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship through the Mississippi Council on Economic Education. I also completed the Paying for College certification through NexGen Personal Finance. I am married and have 4 boys (Wyatt, Owen, Emmett, Luke). This year will be a new adventure with Patriot Vision and Work-Based Learning and I am ready for the challenge! Go Patriots!
