I'm a combination of band nerd and science geek, and I am fortunate enough to continue cultivating those passions as a career. I was born and raised in north Mississippi before heading off to Auburn University for undergrad (War Eagle!) and returning to the University of Mississippi for graduate school. In addition to teaching, I serve as the Marching Percussion Instructor at the University of Mississippi as well as on percussion and/or visual staff for the Lewisburg High School band program, Memphis Blue Drum Corps, and Q2. When not in the classroom, in the lab, or in rehearsal, I enjoy yoga, reading, and training for the next marathon on my calendar. Super excited to be at Lewisburg!
